Trust and transparency

Editorial policy

We publish quotation text only after source and rights review. Search demand can suggest a page; it can never approve one.

Verification before publication

Public records must be verified against a primary source or a reliable secondary source. Commonly attributed, unverified, rejected and draft records remain outside public collections and sitemaps.

AI and automation

Automation may support clustering, duplicate detection and drafts. It may not independently publish quotation wording, attribution, biographical facts, sensitive content or rights-sensitive material.

Corrections

Readers can report every public quote. Substantive changes should record the previous value, editor, evidence, reason and timestamp in an audit log.

Copyright and takedown

We prefer public-domain sources and do not reproduce lyrics or substantial portions of modern works. Rights holders may contact the editorial team for prompt review and reversible unpublishing.
